There was one out there that really grabbed my curiosity, though. Since then I’ve played a handful of them: including EvilType, FF6: Is the Best Game Ever, Brave New World, Return of the Dark Sorcerer, and the Beyond Chaos randomizer. Return of the Dark Sorcerer from Gi Nattak I can’t even remember the name of the first FF6 romhack I played but even its rudimentary changes to a lot of equipment statistics were a new thrill and added delectable unpredictability to a game I was getting very familiar with. Romhacks (or game mods in general) are a great way of breathing new life into old classics, especially the ‘Complete’ kind of romhacks that change many things over the entire adventure to make it a different organism altogether. Please use the links provided to the side of the screen to view information and other FF6 related pages. The Caves of Narshe Final Fantasy VI section is full of character, weapon and armor information, walkthroughs, fanart and fanfiction, and more.

With its well-developed characters and familiar themes of magic, power, and the human dream of happiness and a peaceful life, it is clearly a must-play RPG.įinal Fantasy VI's dynamic story begins revolving around Terra Branford, a mysterious woman with the inhuman ability to cast magic. Many Final Fantasy gamers, young and old, look upon it fondly as one of their favorite games of the series. Although no longer the oldest game we cover, Final Fantasy VI was the game in honor of which this site was founded, and with good reason.
